14. Pop / Asia Pop
Guidelines
In this category, we are looking for music videos that showcase high energy, style and emotional impact.
Submissions should demonstrate memorable melodies, compelling vocals, and high-quality production
Other related genres including K-Pop, J-Pop, C-Pop, Latin-Pop, Afro-Pop, Dance-Pop are all eligible in this category. This list is not exhaustive, so use your best judgement.
Requirements
Submission: Submitted via a YouTube, Vimeo, TikTok, or Instagram link that's publicly viewable.
Permissions: Contains only Music, IP, Footage, and Likenesses that that you have permissions to use.
Eligibility:
Visuals: Your submission MUST include a visual element and CANNOT only be the song by itself.
We are looking for Music Videos, NOT simple lyric videos nor songs with a static album cover.
As every submission in our competition is human reviewed, our competition is free to enter, and we have no limit on the number of submissions, it is not feasible to judge tens of thousands of songs. For future seasons, we will evaluate how to make this possible.
Instrumental: Music videos featuring instrumental tracks are eligible and there is no scoring penalty, except for our Musical Comedy category where lyrics are an important criteria.
Aspect Ratio: Either 16:9 or 9:16.
Length: Between >60 seconds and <11 minutes.
If your submission is part of a longer album, that will not be taken into consideration as each submission will be judged individually.
Creation Date: Made after February 1st, 2025.
Tool Usage: Features any AI tool in a significant way. If you are selected as a Sponsor Winner (i.e. The ElevenLabs Award), you will be asked for proof that you used that tool.
Optional, but Recommended:
